Ford Town Hall

On October 9th, members of the team went to Rangos for Ford’s Town Hall Dinner and Networking event. Lectures from Sheryl Connelly (Global Trends and Futuring Manager, Ford) and Peter Rander (Chief Operating Officer, Argo AI) covered a wide range of topics, including how a company can predict the car of the future, and what advancements are being made in the field of autonomous vehicles. Afterwards, two of our members, Sam Westenberg (ECE ‘18, President) and Bryant Backus (MechE ‘18, ex VP of Vehicle Dynamics), were awarded with the Ford Blue Oval Scholarship. The team itself was also awarded with a $2,500 scholarship for our work.
